Groove is thrilled to welcome Rhodes Piano back to Groove in WINTER 2026. Rhodes Piano made it's debut at Groove in the Fall 2014. The program has since grown to serve schools throughout Lower Westchester.
Rhodes Piano is the perfect introduction and innovative approach to music learning! Through hands-on instruction using Rhodes' unique ears-first method, proprietary tools and music games, kids are able to play songs confidently from the very first session.
A maximum of 6-8 students in each class will receive the benefit of 1:1 instruction from a certified Rhodes educator PLUS the joy of making music with friends in a supportive setting.

Rhodes Method Books are used in conjunction with favorite popular songs to connect students to the music they love. This motivates students to play more frequently and improve more quickly, dramatically increasing their learning and satisfaction. The Rhodes’ learning environment is energetic, positive and taps into the innate musicality of each student.
Harold Rhodes, the creator of this education method, is best known for inventing the Fender-Rhodes Piano, an instrument whose iconic sound has been loved by musicians for decades. Rhodes' passion for music education inspired him to design this fast-paced, innovative method to accelerate the process of learning piano. Rhodes’ Method Books are on display in the Smithsonian Institute and Mr. Rhodes is the only musician to receive a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for teaching.
