with Cooking Crew
3-4 YRS+
In this very tasty hands-on cooking class,
each duo of chefs (caregiver and kiddo) will chop, slice, measure and stir up a delicious, nutritious snack inspired by a classic storybook. We engage all five senses by introducing
a variety of fruits and vegetables in this educational and entertaining environment.
Cooking Crew is not just about eating!
Learning is an essential ingredient in every recipe.
FINE MOTOR SKILLS: Stirring, chopping, kneading and hand-eye coordination
VOCABULARY: Learning new words in the recipe (actions, ingredients, etc)
MATH: Counting, measuring and weighing
SCIENCE: Making predictions and understanding changes that take place
when substances are combined and heated
LOGIC: Understanding recipes and following steps in order

Class fee includes all ingredients, supplies and kitchen equipment to prepare the snack.
