PARTY HELPERS

​​JOB DESCRIPTION:  
Seeking outgoing, kid-friendly folk to host (21 yrs+) and help (16 yrs+) at Groove Birthday Parties.  Your job is to help the party parents, birthday kid and guests feel comfortable, well-supported and "at home" throughout the event.  You will work alongside a groove party MUSICIAN who is responsible for entertaining and engaging the families for 45-minutes.  You will take charge of all the little details that make a birthday party go smoothly!   

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):

• ​Set-up and clean-up Groove indoor space (check-list provided)
• Greet birthday family and arriving guests
• Receive, arrange paper goods, treats, drinks, decor, favor bags
• Keep party on schedule. Communicate time to musicians.
• Present, serve and clear birthday treats + favor bags
• Gather and pack up gifts for birthday family
  
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Love being around young kids + families
• Must work well with others and be able to stick to schedule of activities
• Feel at ease around parents, grandparents and caregivers
• Have reliable transportation to/from Groove 

PARTY TIMES (varies by week)
Saturdays 10:30, 3:00
Sundays 10:30, 3:00

COMPENSATION:
$30-$60 per party depending on role

We encourage tips from birthday families, but they are not guaranteed.
