As we navigate the reopening our studio and the re-imagining of our programming, your family's health and safety is our first priority. Groove is taking extensive measures steps to keep your family safe.
What does an in-person class at Groove look and feel like?
All participants are required to complete a Wellness Pledge (see it here) prior to each class
All classes are limited in number to comply with current covid-19 safety protocols.
All participants (ages 2 and up) must wear a mask and/or face shield during class. No exceptions.
Groove's 6 foot wide screened front doors will remain open as longs as possible for optimum air flow
An ALEN BreatheSafe air purifier fitted with a H13-true HEPA medical grade filter cleans 99.99% of airborne particles. It completely re-circulates the air every 30 minutes.
Hand sanitizer, wipes, tissues, toy/instrument cleaner are readily available throughout the studio
Each families "music space" will be clearly marked and color coded for ease of use
Families are given a Groove Pack for their exclusive use during in-studio classes. This includes easily-sanitized instruments and props which are maintained by Groove but used ONLY by your family each week.
MiniKey bandmates are each assigned a djembe drum, drum sticks, mini Keyboard and color-coded props for their exclusive use during class. Each prop or instrument is disinfected before and after class.
No outside food or beverage is allowed. Kids may bring water bottle with name clearly marked
