GET INTO THE GROOVE! Groovy Loog 101 is an introduction to guitar class for kids featuring the Loog Mini Guitar. Taught by Groove founder, Lesley Joyce Kranz, who is a Certified LOOG Educator. Our class size is limited to 4 musicians and reservations are required to insure a safe and happy class.

Kids find instant gratification with one-finger chords, open strumming super hero songs and holding your instrument like a true rock star! But, playing an instrument is not just about knowing where, when and how to move your hands! Kids in Groovy LOOG 101 will be treated to full body music games that strengthen understanding of rhythm, melody and harmony. Hands, ears, eyes and bodies will get a workout!

We will explore how the Loog relates to the musical fluencies of rhythm, harmony, melody and songwriting. We will explore the role of the Loog among other band instruments like keyboard, drum kit and microphone. We will explore the expression of music on the Loog from volume, mood, tempo and pitch.
