CLASS LEADER (AM JAMS)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Seeking strong singers able to accompany themselves on guitar to LEAD 45-minute Groove Jams for kids 0-5 years. Excellent day-time opportunity for musicians, parents, theater people and early childhood educators. Groove Jams consist of 10-12 songs/chants from a Groove curated collection. We provide lesson plan templates, lead sheets and rehearsal recordings for all songs.

WORK DATES/TIMES:
Groove Jams are offered weekday mornings at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30. Schedule will be determined mutually depending on availability and need. Training begins ASAP and candidates are required to shadow another teacher in at least one class/week for 4 weeks to learn the music and flow of the class. Class Leader commits to a minimum of 1-2 mornings per week for the entire season (10-12 weeks).
COMPENSATION:
$50/45-minute class
$20/hour for weekly staff meeting

- Believe in the musical potential of every individual
- Be creative and excited to learn new curriculum and share ideas
- Be available for a weekly staff meeting
- Have a commitment to developing relationships with students and families
- Possess strong communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation to/from Groove location.
