Lessons

For the KIDS:
Your child can learn a new instrument or further their studies with one of our talented teachers.

We offer private 30 and 45 minute guitar lessons in our conveniently located studios.  Guitar (electric or acoustic), electric bass and piano lessons are offered to kids 7 years and up.  Guitar and bass students must provide their own instrument and purchase music books as recommended by the teacher.  Keyboard, amplifiers and music stands are provided.

KIDS FOR DRUMS! Do you have an aspiring drummer in your house?  They can learn, jam and make plenty of noise at our place under the watchful eye of an experienced  professional musician.   This group class is appropriate for beginning and intermediate students ages 7 to 10.  Sticks and instruments are provided.

SING OUT!  Kids ages 7 to 9 yrs finally get their turn to sing out! Just the songs they love, just for the joy of it.  Music theater coach Lisa Ammon and pianist Jessica Stewart teach kids the proper care and feeding of their instrument--their voices!   Members of Groove's house band (guitar, bass, drums) will drop-in from time to time to accompany and applaud the singers. Song requests are encouraged and microphones and lyric sheets are provided!

FOR THE GROWN-UPS:
Grown-ups can get in the act, too with our popular evening class:  Group Guitar for Grown-ups.
