Welcome to Groove^®, a cozy spot in the heart of Larchmont for families to dance, sing and be happy. The music is live, the vibe is original and the groove is a given. All are welcome.

Groove^® is a family-friendly music and arts studio offering eclectic, enriching programs and events for kids and their grown-ups throughout Westchester County, New York.

Groove^®is the exclusive Westchester producer of the award-winning music program for kids, Music for Aardvarks, plus an evolving roster of original programming for kids from birth through elementary school.

By the time our son was 1 year old, my husband and I schlepped him to the city from Brooklyn twice a week--on the subway, in the stroller, up the stairs--to rock out with David Weinstone and Music for Aardvarks. David's classes were nothing like the sleepy music classes on every other street corner. They made us laugh. They made our kid laugh. And dance and sing and move and groove and get down! It was worth every swipe of the metrocard, every transfer at Brooklyn Bridge, every sweaty trudge up the subway steps, to find this musical oasis. When our family moved to Westchester from Brooklyn in 2003, I searched for a kids' music class that would match the funky, fun groove of Music for Aardvarks. But in Westchester? Nothing doing. So I started my own Aardvarks class with some recently-translanted city folk who were also pining away for a piece of "home". And the rest is history! Music for Aardvarks homebase in Westchester is Groove^®, a purple storefront on Larchmont Avenue--complete with hardwood floors and high tin ceilings--where the music is live, and the vibe is decidedly original.
